Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This policy explains how CannaRadar handles information for our Canada-first cannabis directory, education, owner tools, and community features.

CannaRadar follows PIPEDA and all applicable provincial privacy laws, including limited collection, clear purpose, safeguards, and practical access or correction paths.

Age verification storage

Age verification storage records your confirmation status. It does not store your birth date.

Public contribution safety

Reviews, posts, photos, and messages should avoid private identity, payment, order, and medical details.

1

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account, submit or claim a business listing, write reviews, send messages, create support tickets, participate in community features, or contact us. Province/territory for age verification may be used to apply the correct local age rule; we store your confirmation status, not your birth date. We may also collect technical information needed for security, analytics, fraud prevention, and site reliability.

2

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, listings, owner tools, community features, moderation workflows, support, security, search quality, and product improvements. Optional analytics are used in aggregate to understand how CannaRadar is used.

3

Business listings and public content

Listings, reviews, forum posts, product reviews, photos, and profile activity may be public depending on the feature. Do not publish private contact details, identity documents, order receipts, medical details, or information about another person without permission.

4

Service providers

We may use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, database services, payments, email, analytics, security, support, and moderation operations. Providers may process information only as needed to support CannaRadar.

5

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfect. We retain information only as long as needed for product operation, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, moderation, or legitimate business purposes.

6

Your choices and rights

You can update account information, request support, manage optional cookies, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions. Some records may need to be retained or anonymized where required for legal, security, billing, or moderation reasons.

Privacy questions

Contact us about privacy questions, account data, or correction requests. Do not send identity documents or medical information through ordinary email.
