First outdoor grow - balcony setup in a condo, any tips?

I'm planning my first outdoor grow on my south-facing condo balcony in Toronto. Legal 4 plants, I want to do 2 to start. Few questions:

1. Best strains for Ontario outdoor climate? Thinking autoflowers since the season is short.
2. Pot size recommendations for balcony growing? I have maybe 4x6 feet of space.
3. How do you deal with the smell? Don't want complaints from neighbours.
4. Any issues with wind on higher floors (I'm on the 8th)?
