CBD for anxiety — what ratio and format works best for you?

I've been dealing with generalized anxiety for years and I'm trying to reduce my prescription meds. My doctor suggested looking into CBD as a complement to therapy.
For those of you using cannabis for anxiety management:
- What CBD:THC ratio do you find most effective?
- Do you prefer oils, capsules, vapes, or flower?
- Any specific strains or products you'd recommend from the legal market?
I've tried a 20:1 CBD oil from Solei and it was okay but didn't blow me away. Wondering if I need some THC in the mix for it to really work. Appreciate any advice! 🙏
Medical user here for 4 years. For anxiety specifically, I've found that a small amount of THC actually makes the CBD work much better — it's called the entourage effect. I use a 10:1 CBD:THC oil from Cannafarms and it's been life-changing.
I take it sublingually (under the tongue) twice a day. Takes about 2 weeks of consistent use to really notice the difference. Don't give up after a few days.
I switched from pure CBD to a balanced 1:1 strain (Penelope by Tweed) and the difference was night and day for my anxiety. The tiny bit of THC seems to "activate" the CBD somehow.
For format, I prefer vaping a balanced flower when I feel a panic attack coming on — it's the fastest relief. Oils are better for baseline daily management though.
Have you tried Avidekel from MedReleaf? It's like 18% CBD and less than 1% THC. Best pure CBD flower I've found on the legal market. I vape it before bed and it really quiets the racing thoughts.
Also +1 on being consistent — CBD builds up in your system over time. Give any new product at least 2-3 weeks before judging it.

This is really helpful, thank you! I've been reading about the entourage effect but honestly was nervous about adding any THC into the mix — even a small amount. I've had one bad experience with a THC edible years ago and it made my anxiety 10x worse, so I've been sticking to pure CBD ever since.
But hearing that a 10:1 ratio works well for you is encouraging. That's barely any THC. Did you notice any psychoactive effects at all with the Cannafarms oil, or is it purely a body/calm thing?
Also curious about the sublingual method — do you hold it under your tongue for a specific amount of time? I've been just swallowing my CBD oil like a normie and wondering if that's why it hasn't been hitting as hard. 😅
Going to look into Cannafarms and maybe ask my doctor about trying a 10:1 next appointment. Appreciate the real-world experience — way more useful than the generic stuff you find on Google.
